This series of paintings "IMPRESIONES de MEXICO" ("IMPRESSION of MEXICO") are my works completed while living and experiencing daily life in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

I see Art as a reflection of life.   As an artist I enjoy observing and photographing people in their everyday life.  While walking through the streets of Mexico, I am impressed with the Mexican people; their culture, character and zest for life. I use my camera's eye to capture scenes that might provide interesting subject matter.   I spend time looking over and pondering my images; then refining, extracting, and maybe amplifying areas of an image that may become the focus for my paintings.
